Eye Flower Flash Sheet

Flash sheet of some traditional flower tattoos, with my own twist. The peony is titled "Opulence", the chrysanthemum is titled "Mourning". These are both inspired by the traditional symbolism of these flowers in tattooing. Peonies, or "Botan" in traditional Japanese tattooing, symbolise ideas like wealth and prosperity; I used golden glitter ink to create the golden tears from this opulent eye to reference this idea. For the chrysanthemum, I chose to use normal pale blue tears not only to contrast the bold yellows and oranges, but also to reference their symbolism for death. They are used in funeral bouquets, so the concept of this being a sombre flower directly influenced this design,
